Please Note: traveljunkies.com not Travel-Junkies.com
Please note this important difference . . .
www.traveljunkies.com began in 2002 and now has more than 3000 clients worldwide.
We have seen an advertising campaign by Travel-Junkies, a blog by a family who plan to travel, and the very best of luck to them.
But please note there is no connection with the long established advertising and promotion business traveljunkies.com
traveljunkies started as a newsletter for scuba divers and skydivers in Australia and has since grown to become one of the leading promotion websites for small travel, tourism and activities businesses worldwide, and now has more than 3000 clients who have trusted us with promoting their businesses for the past 10 years.
As well as traditional adverts, traveljunkies has its own search engine “like Google only smaller” which makes it easy for our visitors to find exactly what they are looking for.
At traveljunkies.com we offer free advertising in our Guide and Directory to promote travel, tourism and activities businesses. We feature our clients in our Blog, and on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, and we believe this to be the best value-for-money advertising anywhere.
To get your free listing in the traveljunkies Guide and Directory, visit us at http://www.traveljunkies.com/contact.php and fill in a few details.
Best wishes from

These Boots Weren’t Made For Walking – They Are Now!!
My 12 year old boots were only worn for 1-2 weeks a year when I went skiing, but they split …
After a brief chat (on Twitter) with Mr Berghaus they agreed to replace them free of charge, and my new boots arrived today.
Thank you. Good customer service Mr Berghaus

Our New Friend Jade . . .
. . . well we haven’t actually met Jade yet but who knows, someday.
She’s a traveler & writer from some out-of-the-way place in Canada and we stumbled upon her in Stumbleupon, see it does work, and I started reading her Blog.
Now, not all travel blogs are worth spending time on, but I think hers is, because she’s done some crazy things. Read about her spending hours on a ferry from Fiji in a cyclone accompanied only by an unfortunate friend and a sick bag.
I’ll let you read her stories, you’ll find them here . . . www.ouroyster.com.
She also has a Pinterest Board, but don’t bother going there, there’s nothing on it – yet. Perhaps she should get some ideas from mine www.pinterest.com/traveljunkies
So do yourself a favour, have a little light reading from Jade’s Blog and if you like it, tell her, and if you don’t like it, tell her.
Until next time
Cliff

Are You Using Pinterest To Advertise Your Business? It’s Free . . .
Pinterest’s traffic is growing fast and the stats are impressive. Known for its high quality images, it’s apps allow you to pin pictures from pretty much anywhere with just one click. Pinterest does for pictures what Twitter does for words.
And demographics show Pinterest appeals mainly to college-educated females who are known to influence many spending decisions.
Pinterest is now the number three most-popular social network in the U.S., behind Facebook and Twitter, according to Experian Hitwise.
A new report shows Pinterest got more than 20 million visits a week in January, nearly 30 times that in July last year.
So are you making the most of this free advertising opportunity to promote your business?
If not … why not?
